In 1898, a 17 year-old Austrian immigrant, Bernard Francis, began washing windows in the bustling business districts of New Jersey.   He did not have much experience, but he had a belief ... quality service would assure him an honest living.

Today the efforts and dreams of this young window washer and his "horse and buggy" office have evolved into CBMC Capital Building Maintenance Corporation, representing one of the fastest growing privately held maintenance corporations in the United States.  We enjoy this growth and prosperity because we have never lost sight of out traditional principles ... our belief in quality service.
